Come to the Carnival and celebrate all life with joyous international rhythm and fantasy. In Brazilian style the musical parade begins with Le Boeuf sur le toit, followed by the French Concerto for 2 pianos performed by Elizabeth and Marcel Bergmann. Not far behind come familiar and humorous images of gopher, loon, moose and whale in A Canadian Carnival followed by audience favourite Saint-Saën’s gem — Carnival of the Animals. The last float passes by with the rich Latin dance rhythms of Huapango by Mexican composer Moncayo. It’s hot, fun... a party of musical surprises!
