Vancouver Island Youth Dance Theatre Association once again presents its hugely popular "Dance Odyssey" production, featuring guest artists from top Island studios. This exciting program highlights the richness and diversity of dance on Vancouver Island.

From classical ballet to tap, street dance to national, there is something for everyone in this show.  Dancers also have the opportunity to take part in master classes prior to the show with guest artist Heather Laura Gray.  A treat for all dance fans.


Ballet BC dancers Alexis Fletcher & Connor Gnam *courtesy of Ballet BC have agreed to appear as guest artists in the Dancestreams Dance Odyssey show Feb 4th.  They will be performing an excerpt from “Diversions” by Robert Glumbek which Ballet BC premiered in Nov 2011.  Both dancers are Dancestreams alumni- Alexis was raised in Comox & Connor in Nanaimo.

Dancestreams is a pre-professional youth dance company dedicated to fostering excellence in talented Vancouver Island dancers. By providing extraordinary and unique training and performance opportunities of the highest standards, Dancestreams encourages and supports gifted dance students to achieve their full potential.
