54-40 is: Neil Osborne, Brad Merritt, Matt Johnson & Dave Genn, one of the most important music groups to emerge from the Canadian cultural landscape.

Celebrating its thirty-year anniversary, the band has an unbelievable catalogue of hit songs, including "Baby Ran", "Assoholic", "She-La", "Miss You", "I Go Blind" and "Ocean Pearl". Inspired by the punk/new music scene in Vancouver, 54-40 first performed in 1981 at the Smilin' Buddha Cabaret.  Their outstanding reputation for live performance continues today.After 30 years, 16 releases and more than 2000 performances, the secret to 54-40's longevity is their ability to redefine the band.  From the MuchMusic video craze of the '90s to the new world of  MP3s,  54-40 has embraced it all, even releasing their very own mobile phone app.
