Nanaimo Arts Council Presents the 14th Annual Vancouver Island Short Film Festival
at Malaspina Theatre, Vancouver Island University, Building 310
VISFF is back February 1st and 2nd with the best in short films curated by a local Selection Committee. This is one of Nanaimo’s sell-out, longest-running events heading into its 14th year so don’t miss out and get your tickets early!
The selected films are all shown at three different screenings:
o Friday, February 1st, at 7pm, the show concludes with a filmmakers’ Q&A.
o Saturday, February 2nd at 2pm
o Saturday, February 2nd, at 7pm, followed by the Awards Ceremony.
The doors open at 6pm for the evening shows so come early to mingle, meet local filmmakers, get your seat and enjoy a beverage and some music.
Awards are given out in 7 different categories, including People’s Choice! Come out and support the art of storytelling through short films!
