Celebrating the Music of Chicago!
With Special Guest – Live Rust
Chicago had a string of Top 40 hits spanning over two decades, from 1970 to 1991, and pretty well every one of these hits are as familiar now as they were back in the day. The music of Chicago is a complex blend of rock, pop, jazz, r&b and classical. If this sounds complicated, it is……but it all comes together magically, like no other band before them or since.
West Coast Chicago is a group of top-notch musicians and vocalists who capture the exact sound, energy, texture and dynamics of every one of Chicago’s incredible catalogue of hits. Every song is performed exactly like the original version without improvisation and with amazing attention to detail. If you find yourself singing along….nobody will be surprised! The show is enhanced by multi-media visuals created especially for the band.
Opening the show is very special guest Live Rust, a tribute to the unique and immediately recognizable voice of Neil Young. This is a captivating solo performance by Roger Potter, whose voice is unbelievably similar to that of Neil Young himself. Neil Young has seen Roger Potter’s Live Rust. He and his crew gave two thumbs-up to Live Rust as being the very best sounding ‘Neil’ they had ever seen!
