The Port Theatre Society requires a Casual Part-Time Bartender for evenings and weekends commencing September 2026. Hours may vary from 0 to 20 hours each week, depending on activity level.
Responsibilities: Â The position of Bartender is an important part of the Port Theatre team, working with other departments including Front of House, Ticket Centre, and with our Volunteers. The successful candidate will be a friendly, organized and proactive professional, with exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities would include verifying age requirements, processing payments, managing inventory and maintaining a clean work area. To be successful in this position the candidate would practice good time management skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with a Point of Sales system
- Hospitality experience and a Serving it Right certificate
- Cash management skills
- Excellent customer/client service skills
- A team approach to the workplace with strong self-motivation
$19.68/hr. plus tips
