A Port Theatre Spotlight Series Presentation
Join our adventures in life on stage! Aerial hammock, contortion, juggling, hula hoop, diabolo, aerial rope, aerial hoop and cyr wheel.
Everything in this show is based on a love story… how Cirque du Soleil performers met and became husband and wife. They even share real footage from their time touring North America with Cirque du Soleil before they got married.
Look for the subtle meaning in every moment. Even the rose pedals are from their wedding day. The letter is an actual card Alexandr wrote to Sante before he asked her to be his wife. Their show also features a friend who witnessed them fall in love.
Santé D’Amours Fortunato received her CEGEP College Diploma in 2011 from the National Circus School, Montreal. Santé toured internationally as a circus artist for numerous companies. In 2017, she joined Cirque du Soleil Corteo as a hula hoop soloist, and aerialist in the chandelier act; during this time, Santé met her husband and fellow circus artist Alexandr. FOREV was their first creation when everything was on pause.
Alexandr Yudintsev (Sasha), born and raised in Kazakhstan, discovered his passion for tumbling at the age of 10. He was the tumbling champion of Kazakhstan, which led him to three World Cups, and two World Championships. While pursuing a degree in Physical Education, Alexandr joined Cirque Du Soleil and has been performing with the company in various positions and productions including Corteo and Kurios.
Selene Ballesteros-Mingüer is a multifaceted circus artist who draws inspiration from various art forms as well as her Latin culture and roots. She graduated from the National Circus School of Montreal specializing in aerial rope and hammock, and has since then continued to grow and learn other disciplines while touring with Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Éloize.
