James Vickers Band
Formed in 2023, the James Vickers Band has quickly become a standout on Canada’s West Coast blues and roots scene, known for their high-energy performances, sharp musicianship, and guitar-driven songs by their impressive 16-year-old frontman, James Vickers.
A fast-rising Indigenous vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist of Gitxaala, Heiltsuk, Haida, and British ancestry, James began performing at age 11. In 2024, he represented the Fraser Valley Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, and became the youngest artist to host the Queen’s Sunday Blues Jam in Nanaimo. But with the 2025 release of their debut album, Last Goodbye, the band’s reach is extending well beyond the bounds of British Columbia. James is joined in modern blues-rooted rollicking by guitarist Carson Maertz, drummer Sara Varro, and Rick Becker, a veteran bassist whose five decades in the blues-rock pocket help drive the energetic grooves of his young bandmates.

Myc Sharratt has performed his award-winning brand of folk-funk to audiences across North America and Europe for close to 20 years. Sharratt’s new album “The Bird & The Bear” was recorded live in front of a captive audience in Sharratt’s hometown of Nanaimo, BC with his band, “The Alibis”. The lively sextet was complimented by the magic of the Vancouver Island Symphony. The collection sees the reimagining of songs from Sharratt’s first 5 albums which have garnered over 4 million streams and 7 Vancouver Island music award nominations.

Quadra Sound is part of a new generation of rock bands resurrecting the raw power of 90s grunge and bringing it back to modern stages. Hailing from Vancouver Island, Canada, the band blends the grit and heaviness of the Seattle era with the swagger and hooks of classic 70’s rock.
Their sound caught the attention of Grammy and Juno award-winning producer Brian Howes, who brought them into the fold with management team Indegoot Entertainment—known for working with major touring acts like Shinedown, Halestorm, and Theory of a Deadman.
Since then, Quadra Sound has released a string of singles recorded at Armoury Studios, earning radio play across Canada while building a rapidly growing following online.
Known for their loud guitars, melodic hooks, and high-energy live shows, Quadra Sound is quickly carving out their place in the modern rock landscape. With more music on the way and an expanding tour schedule ahead, the band is pushing forward as part of the rising wave of artists bringing the spirit of grunge into a new era.
