LIVE-STREAMING

The Port Theatre is pleased to offer live-streaming for many events, so you can enjoy live performance safely from your own home.

Diversity is one of our core values. The Port Theatre Society is proud to be accessible and responsive to all segments of the population. We continue to expand our community outreach and ensure access and collaboration with people from all cultures, ages, races and genders. Nanaimo is a gathering place and the Port Theatre is at the centre; the heart of our downtown.

During this pandemic, only 50 audience members are allowed inside the theatre. We understand that many will not be able to attend for a variety of reasons. Therefore, we want to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to participate in the Arts! Folks in care homes, hospitals or other facilities can connect to the Port Theatre! Live-streaming allows more people to tune in and experience the joy of live performance in Nanaimo.
