Awaken Your Monster Within…
& WIN tickets to Manual Cinema’s Frankenstein
In anticipation of Manual Cinema’s upcoming production Frankenstein, The Port Theatre invites you to answer the following questions and create your own version of a monster. Must be your original work. Any art medium will be accepted (painting, photo, song, poem, sculpture, video, etc.)
- What do monsters really look like?
- Where do they live?
- Are they our enemies or friends?
- Who decides what’s really monstrous in our society?
- Why do monsters exist?
CONTEST DETAILS
Create a monster using any materials (paint, photography, collage, song, poem, sculpture, video, etc.). Include your name, age (if applicable), contact details, category and description of the monster you’ve given life to.
5 categories:
- Most original
- Most thought provoking
- Most frightening
- Kids (Age 7 – 12)
- Teens (Age 13 – 19)
SUBMIT your entry by email marketing@porttheatre.com or drop off at Port Theatre administration (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm) 125 Front Street, Nanaimo, BC
PRIZE: WIN 4 tickets to Manual Cinema’s FRANKENSTEIN on Sunday, March 8 @ 7:30pm
DEADLINE: Enter by Monday, February 24, 2020 at 5pm
WINNERS will be announced by end of February and on display in The Port Theatre lobby on the night of the show (Sunday, March 8)
RULES: Only one submission per person. Port Theatre staff and their family members are not eligible to win.
