Due to COVID-19, The Port Theatre is now closed until further notice. Admin staff are working from home and will respond to your emails.

The City of Nanaimo is actively monitoring and responding to the direction and recommendations being made by the Government of Canada and the BC provincial health officer. The Port Theatre is a City owned and co-managed facility.
The health of our community is of the utmost importance right now. We encourage patrons, volunteers, artists, and staff to take good care and practice social distancing.
The BC CDC has also uploaded a self assessment tool.
The Port Theatre looks forward to re-opening its doors and offering arts and entertainment once again to the citizens of Vancouver Island.
